my step-dad is the campaign manager for a congressional candidate in north carolina named marshall adame. i've hung out with this man and he is the real deal. here is some video of a speech he gave at the democratic headquarters in raleigh.

I seem to remember a previous Jackblog political endorsement--from a certain Stridewideman--for a shiny up-and-comer by the name of Eliot Spitzer.
Is this like the SI cover jinx? Only, if your name appears on the Jackblog, you start doing prostitutes with reckless abandon?
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Look, policy acumen apparently has nothing to do with personal good sense. I had no idea. That being said, it's unfortunate that Spitzer went down the way he did. If he'd been honest, it would have gone better (see newly minted Gov. Paterson's first day press conference about his 'numerous' infidelities).
Either way, outrageous.
it is unfortunate that in as far as we have advanced in society that you can't import a $8,000 prostitute that you saw on girls gone wild 5 hours from new york to washington for some service 8 times without losing your career.
perhaps that is a run on sentence, but I don't give a shart.
