from politico:Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign intends to go after delegates whom Barack Obama has already won in the caucuses and primaries if she needs them to win the nomination.
This strategy was confirmed to me by a high-ranking Clinton official on Monday. And I am not talking about superdelegates, those 795 party big shots who are not pledged to anybody. I am talking about getting pledged delegates to switch sides.
I don't care if it's "legal" - that's some third world shit.

I was not aware that pledged delegates are allowed to think.
apparently the rules are you can vote however you want - but the candidate to which the delegate is pledged can remove any delegate s/he suspects may be disloyal.
also of note, it looks like the Clinton campaign is vehemently denying this.
in an election where democrats should just dominate they really have found creative ways to fuck this all up.
if they allow delegates to decide this, the donkey convention will burn to the ground.
i still don't think it'll come to that. Barry's gonna pull it out.
