disgusting.

if you haven't been paying attention to the nomination campaign, i fucking envy you.

the garbage tactics of the Clintons Two have destroyed any attempt at her winning the general, and any possibility of me voting for her. this display has been absolutely revolting. gag, gag, gag. who would want to be affiliated with the party if these hacks are running it?

fuck the policy degree, i'm going to chef school.

(Obama.)

Just Remember..... A vote for Hillary is a vote to get Socks back in the White House. I think America needs that right now.

I am not down will everything being said, but I do know the clintons are attacking obama. I also know obama is deflecting or dissproving those attacks, but he is mounting any of his own? The press make it seem like its a war of words but I only really see one side attacking the other side just saying thats not true.

Also, has obama played the "black" card yet in any of the debates? Because Clinton has been playing the woman card as if she is the only one pushing for a new race/gender in the office.

I also lost a lot of respect for Bill. He is the one really being a dickbag.

It's all stupid. Let's be clear. And yes, the Clintons will go to any lengths necessary for power. That's their m.o. But let's be clear. The race thing they got pilloried for was ridiculous.

Hill said that you need a legislator to pass laws like the Civil Rights Act, which is true, not that MLK wasn't responsible for building the necessary support to pass the bill. Her point was that you need people like her in office to pass the bill when people like MLK build a movement. So the treatment she's gotten over it is stupid.

Bill only said that Obama's record of having been continually against the war was 'a fairy tale'. I don't know what he was siting, but attacking someone's record is standard practice in political campaigns (and not one Obama is above). It's healthy and good, because it lets us know what the candidates actually do when they're in office. So that was also crap.

That all being said, the Clintons aren't racists, they're classists and power-hungary. Bill signed NAFTA, which freed us up to fuck other countries by shifting our product construction to countries with no worker rights or environmental protections. They're both totally in the pocket of corporate America.

But they're better then the competition. Even Hil-dawg, whilst being loathsome, will pass a healthcare bill that will help people. She'll actually pass the first global warming bill. She'll repeal 'Don't ask, don't tell'.

Obviously Obama is far better. Edwards is good as well.

But let's us remember what real evil looks like before we return to chewing on each other.

Also, Chelsea is far better looking then last time. Let's not discount that.

Socks, The Legend, is innocent of the crimes of his sadistic masters.

He hath long ago lain down the mantle of callow servitude and picked up the sublime quill of justice. His place is not before the fire in the White House Pet Lounge, but in the sanctified inner rung of the world's great wordsmiths.

The White House? A Socks craves not these things.

first of all, there's the little matter of her not being able to win now that she has shown her true colors.

but even if she did, that's the thing strideman. i'm not so sure she will pass a health care bill.

her street cred among republicans on this issue is as abysmal as you can get. and that means something. furthermore, should she be the presidential candidate, you're going to lose dem seats in the house and the senate, meaning she'll have to work with them even more than she does now.

and mccain would pass global warming legislation too.

nobody things the clintons are racists. any democratic campaign engages in racial politics to some extent. that's not the point. it's about the entire style of politics and governing that has turned off over half of the public from giving a shit about it.

their entire strategy now is based on savaging a candidate based purely on deceit. everybody who's not a partisan can see it plain as day: they're destroying the party.

I am a fan of obama not really for all of his policies (which still please me) but more for how eloquent he is. After this last administration we need someone smart and a good communicator to clean up the trash.

I feel like I could give that man a brown bag and shit and tell him to do what he can. Probably 5 minutes later he will come back with 20 bucks.

Oh and the other 2 dems will do nicely too. Just no crazy romney or huckabee. They scare the shit out of me.

I'm with Karp. Obama's great (though his early clean coal proposals still bug me slightly). He's what I want my president to be.

But I would take either of the other two. The whole of the Republican ticket scares the daylights out of me (including McCain, who despite being more man then Rambo and Pete Rose put together, is still kind of crazy and doesn't know economic stuff at all, really).
