That word gets thrown around a lot, but this is a guy who was thrown in to a box smaller then a closet, had most of his bones broken and teeth knocked out, was given no medical attention for weeks, and then was offered the opportunity to go home. No strings attached. The pain would end.

He refused to go until the other soldiers in the prison were sent home before him. He continued to refuse, through beatings and abuse, for four more years.

The idea that any of the other presidential candidates would have the moral fiber to handle that is almost laughable. What's happening in South Carolina is not just sad, it's horrifying.

Fuck those guys. I'm not voting for John McCain, but goddamn. Let him run and be crazy in peace. Let his ideas sink him. Don't impugn the one true and absolutely amazing thing about him.

Anyway. It does sound like Karl. Maybe he's there in some pit dripping with slime, feasting on rotting babies and writing press releases for these guys.
