Troy High School band director John Purdy was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Triangle Park in Dayton for engaging in sexual activity with two other men. Purdy was charged with public indecency, a misdemeanor, and taken to the Montgomery County Jail, according to First District Commander Lt. Michael Wilhelm of the Dayton Police Department. A fourth man was arrested at another location after leaving the park.

He was the high school band director at Talawanda. So for those of us townies who were in band (a reasonable percentage of jackbloggers) this one makes a bit more sense. Who was it I was just talking to that was refuting the "John Purdy came out" rumor? Was that CCS? The Cowboy? I can't remember.
Just another reason why Oxford is clearly more effed up than any of us give it credit for, though the Purd did at least escape its grasp before he got all weird. (maybe.)
Anyway, what the fuck is up with getting arrested for this shit at 5:30 pm? That's not a reasonable time to be fucking two guys in a park.

pretty much, yeah. i feel bad for the guy because teaching was clearly his life and hes pretty much going to have to kiss that goodbye now. of course no one said fuck two guys in a park before it gets dark out but still...
